We are a Heritage Lottery Funded history project exploring Dorset’s ancient pathways by walking in the shoes of the Saxon pilgrim, St Aldhelm and a soldier training for the First World War. We will turn what we learn into a fun, interactive treasure hunt to share with the Dorset public.

Today we had a visit from Brian Bates an author of a book we are using extracts from for our research and he kindly gave us some material to use on our cards in our geocaches. we also found a link to a clip about the German Prisoner of war camp in Dorchester. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-dorset-24906894
